Marylin, wedding celebrant
Hello! My name is Marylin and I am the founder of A Lovely Day. I’ve become coach and humanist celebrant (wedding celebrant) following the conception of my own wedding secular ceremony.
Planning my own wedding in 2013 triggered a revelation as these questions kept occurring: Why is it so complicated to get married in a non-religious way? And how do I have a more personal and unique ceremony than one given by the registry office? This is where my adventure began.
With my discovered passion for weddings and my love for writing, I realized that I could use my own experience to help couples create their own unique, intimate and tailor-made wedding ceremonies, or renewal of vows. This is how I became a full-time wedding celebrant, and I could’ve never asked for anything better.
Since then, I have worked with dozens of couples, providing them with beautiful words for the most loving ceremonies. I aim to create a romantic and original atmosphere, and make every celebration as authentic as possible to give newlyweds, their families and friends an unforgettable experience.
Additionally, I speak five languages, including English, Spanish, German, Italian and my mother tongue of French. Therefore, I find it very important to understand and immerse myself into your culture and traditions so that I can build the connections with you to provide you with a ceremony of your dreams.
Naturally, after the birth of my baby in 2016, I decided to introduce a secular baby naming ceremony, to give you the opportunity to celebrate the birth of your child in a non-religious manner.
I can promise you the most beautiful and perfect ceremony and I assure you that I will not disappoint. Let my passion in love and writing give you the ceremony of your dreams.
